Rastriya Poshak Ghar was born from the vision of two young entrepreneurs determined to revive Nepal’s national dress, the “Daura Suruwal” and “Fariya Choli.” On January 1, 2012, in collaboration with Sardhawan Nepal, we led the first movement advocating for the national dress to be recognized in the country’s constitution. This day is now celebrated as Rastriya Poshak Diwas, marking the beginning of our enduring commitment to preserving Nepal’s cultural heritage.

Over the years, our efforts have expanded into large-scale campaigns, supported by prominent political and social leaders, and have inspired the younger generation to embrace and advocate for our national attire. These initiatives have sparked significant political discussions, highlighting the importance of cultural preservation.
